Who should give life skills test?

What does the Life Skills test look like?
In the IELTS, Life Skills is a test to demonstrate their speaking and listening skills.
You will sit in the test with an IELTS examiner and another candidate. The examiner will assess your speaking and listening skills during the test session.
The session can last between 16 and 22 minutes.

An IELTS examiner will analyse your English Speaking and Listening skills according to a set of criteria. The criteria include:

The other candidate’s performance will not affect your test score as it is marked individually.
You cannot take any breaks between the Speaking and Listening sessions.
What is IELTS LIFE SKILLS TEST?
IELTS Life Skills test is for people needing to prove their English speaking and listening skills at Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) Levels A1, A2 or B1.
You can use your Life Skills results to apply for certain visa types to the UK.
In the UK SELT Life Skills B1 test you will only be assessed for your listening and speaking skills.
A trained and qualified IELTS examiner will assess your English-language proficiency across these two skills.
MARKING CRITERION:
In the IELTS Life Skills test

Your results are given as a pass or fail mark.

No band scores.
WHAT SHOULD YOU CARRY ON EXAM DAY:

Same passport or national identity card that you used to book your IELTS test.

If you do an IELTS on paper test, you can take pens, pencils and erasers into the examination room.

If you do an IELTS on computer test, the centre will provide you with pencils and paper.

Personal belongings are not allowed inside the examination room.

Electronic gadgets must be switched off and left with your personal belongings.

If you keep mobile phones or electronic devices with you, you will be disqualified.
